About Doggy Dilemmas
Doggy Dilemmas is here to help you with all your canine related problems.
I am a qualified canine behaviour practitioner with a level 4 diploma in advanced canine behaviour, along with many other certificates. I use force free and ethical reward and science based behaviour adjustment methods, I am always continuing to expand my own knowledge by keeping up to date with the latest training.
I am an experienced dog owner and have bred mini longhaired Dachshunds in the past.
I have spent my whole life with dogs and I have studied their behaviour, learning about their body language and communication, their breed needs, diet and exercise, how to help with fear and anxiety and aggression.
My aim is to reach as many dog owners as possible, who are having problems with their beloved friend, and show them how to bring harmony and balance back to their relationship.
There are many solutions to many problems but I take a holistic approach looking at each individual dog, it's environment, diet and lifestyle, it's daily routine and it's relationship with its owner, I work with you to establish your requirements from your dog, and together we work out a plan of action that suits everyone, that is beneficial to both your dog and your own well-being.
I make sure the actions that are required by you, the owner are within your time and capabilities.
When you contact me and we talk through the reasons why you have felt the need to find a behaviourist, I will ask that you have made sure there are no underlying health issues by visiting your vet and getting your dog checked over, then we can proceed knowing that it is a behavioural issue not an undiagnosed health related problem.
